The Fulton County Board of Health is making COVID-19 vaccines available to all residents who are age 65 and over.

As the vaccine distribution begins, the board of health is asking for residents to be patient as national vaccine stocks are limited and will be for some time.

Here’s what you need to know about getting the COVID-19 vaccine in Fulton County:

  • Beginning Monday, January 11, the COVID-19 vaccine will be available to everyone 65 and older.
  • You do not have to have an underlying health condition to receive the vaccine.
    • However, if you have any underlying health conditions we ask that you seek medical advice from your doctor prior to registering for the vaccine.
  • The board of health will place a form on their website around January 11. Please complete this form online so that they can contact you once vaccine appointments are open.
  • Once you’ve scheduled your appointment, you will receive a confirmation email. Please note that appointments fill quickly, so you are encouraged to check the scheduling link often as the schedule is updated in real time.
  • Call the COVID-19 Hotline at (404) 613-8150 if you would like assistance completing the form or if you do not have access to the internet and wish to be notified once vaccine appointments are open.
  • If you find that you cannot get vaccinated as soon as you would like, the board of health suggests that you ask your healthcare provider whether they have applied and been approved as a COVID-19 vaccine provider.
