Another Georgia county has found a missing set of ballots during the statewide hand recount of the presidential race. This comes after Floyd County discovered 2,600 missing votes over the weekend.
This time, the error was found in Fayette County, where a memory card was not processed, leaving about 2,755 votes uncounted.
Once the votes were tallied, Donald Trump gained 449 votes and Joe Biden’s lead in Georgia narrowed to 12,929 votes.
The missing memory card came from the Peachtree City Library precinct.
In both the Floyd and Fayette cases, the uncounted votes did not amount to enough to change the outcome of the election.
