LOGANVILLE — Police in Gwinnett County are searching for a missing 16-year-old.

The Gwinnett County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Asha Bluett. She disappeared from home on Julianna Drive sometime Wednesday night.

Bluett’s family said that she is on foot but likely may not know where she is.

Police describe Bluett as a 16-year-old girl with a ponytail with shaved sides. She was last seen wearing black sweatpants with white stripes and a white shirt. She stands about 5’01 in height and weighs 140 pounds.

Updated Friday, July 24, 2020: Asha Bluett has returned home safely according to the Gwinnett County Police Department.

According to the Gwinnett County Police Department, Bluett has “a diminished mental capacity” and requires constant medical attention.
