{"id":8924,"date":"2019-03-28T17:09:44","date_gmt":"2019-03-28T21:09:44","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.thegeorgiasun.com\/?p=8924"},"modified":"2023-09-24T15:39:27","modified_gmt":"2023-09-24T19:39:27","slug":"top-apparel-company-to-create-575-jobs-in-palmetto","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thegeorgiasun.com\/?p=8924","title":{"rendered":"Top apparel company to create 575 jobs in Palmetto"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>Governor Brian Kemp announced Thursday that\u00a0PVH Corp., one of the largest global apparel companies, will create 575 jobs and invest $77.6 million in a new distribution and warehouse facility in Palmetto.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are excited that PVH Corp. chose to locate their new distribution and warehouse facility in Georgia,\u201d said Kemp. \u201cBy creating 575 jobs and investing $77.6 million in the Palmetto community, PVH Corp.&#8217;s positive impact will be felt statewide and bring even more business to our booming Savannah port.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With a history going back over 135 years, PVH has grown brands and businesses with rich American heritages, becoming one of the largest apparel companies in the world. PVH owns the iconic\u00a0Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Van Heusen, Izod, Arrow, Speedo, Warner\u2019s, Olga\u00a0and\u00a0<em>Geoffrey Beene<\/em>\u00a0brands, as well as the digital-centric\u00a0<em>True &amp; Co.<\/em>\u00a0intimates brand, and markets a variety of goods under these and other nationally and internationally known owned and licensed brands.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe are proud to be partnering with the State of Georgia to expand our footprint here, and we look forward to welcoming hundreds of new PVH associates to our company, where we are guided by our core values \u2013 individuality, partnership, passion, integrity and accountability.
