The event will take place at Drexel Park from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and is open to the entire community free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, over 700 students and their families enjoyed a day filled with activities, music, food, and fun while also receiving free school supplies. This year, the event aims to provide a positive start to the school year and offer support to parents who may need assistance for their children, according to <strong>Anetra Riley<\/strong>, Neighborhood Development and Community Protection Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to the festivities, Wiregrass Georgia Technical College will be offering free haircuts at the Woman&#8217;s Building located at 1409 N Patterson Street.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The City Council, City leadership, local community organizations, and sponsors have all played a crucial role in organizing this year&#8217;s community block party.
