No problem. Below is a sampling of some of the Independence Day festivities throughout the state. All of the events on this list take place on the 4th.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ufeffAvondale Estates<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong>\ufeff Avondale Estates hosts a parade in the morning and fireworks at dusk.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\ufeff The parade lineup begins at 9 a.m. and the parade itself starts at 10 a.m. at the intersection of Clarendon Avenue and South Avondale Road. The fireworks start at dusk at Lake Avondale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Lake Tobesofkee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong>\ufeff The 24th\u00a0Sparks Over the Park\u00a0Independence Day Celebration\u00a0at\u00a0Lake Tobesofkee. All of the parks at Lake Tobesofkee will be open, there will be a live band, and the day will conclude with a fireworks show.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\u00a0Gates will open at the parks at 7 a.m., and Sandy Beach Water Park is scheduled to be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Loose Skrews will be performing from 6 to 9 p.m. at Sandy Beach Park pavilion, and the fireworks show will start about\u00a09:15 p.m.\u00a0Gates will close for anyone wanting to enter the parks at 8 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Admission:<\/strong>\ufeff\u00a0Admission to the parks is\u00a0$5.00 for every car or motorcycle, $15.00 for every passenger van, and $30.00 for any vehicle that can accommodate 30 or more people. No alcohol or glass containers are allowed in the parks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ufeffChamblee<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong>\u00a0This family-friendly event at Keswick Park starts in the evening with activities including a bike parade from Chamblee Middle School, bounce houses, music, as well as food provided by local Chamblee favorites like The Mad Italian and the Frosty Caboose, as well as from the King of Pops and the nonprofit group Cop-N-Stuff. The night concludes with a 25 minute fireworks display.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> The event begins at 5 p.m. with the bike parade.\u00a0Live music will start with KingStreet and KRP Band at 5:30 pm and will end with Bogey and the Viceroy taking the stage, who will be playing soul, retro rock and pop and even some of today\u2019s current hits. They will play until the fireworks display begins around 9:30 pm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Braselton<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong>\ufeff Downtown Braselton&#8217;s Fourth of July celebration includes a parade, food, live music and &#8212; of course &#8212; fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong> From 5 to 9:30 p.m. food trucks\u00a0 will be available on the Town Green. At 6 p.m. there will be a parade along Hwy. 53. \u00a0From 6:30 to 9 p.m. there will be live music on the Town Green by the Moby Dick Band. The fireworks are expected to start at about 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Augusta<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong>\ufeff Augusta&#8217;s Fourth of July activities are held at the Augusta Common on Reynolds Street and features live entertainment, a fun zone for kids and fireworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\ufeff The event starts at 4 p.m. with fireworks expected at about 9:30 p.m.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>\ufeffAtlanta<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Features:<\/strong>\ufeff Georgia&#8217;s biggest city is home to an Independence Day celebration that includes fireworks and live music. The headliner is chart-topping R&amp;B quartet After 7, best known for the hits \u201cReady or Not\u201d and \u201cCan\u2019t Stop,\u201d performing with JFly and Friends. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year, the fireworks have been moved from Centennial Park to the World Congress Center due to some renovations at the park.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong>\ufeff The gates open at 6 p.m. with the music starting at 7 p.m. Fireworks are expected at about 9:45 p.m.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>So, you know you want to do something involving fireworks or maybe a parade for July 4, but you aren&#8217;t sure where to go.
