Additionally, the Rottweiler breaking into the top five in 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s no surprise that the French Bulldog continues to be the most popular breed in cities like <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"\/city\/Atlanta\"   title=\"Atlanta\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\">Atlanta<\/a>,\u201d said AKC Executive Secretary Gina DiNardo.&nbsp; \u201cThey are excellent companion dogs that thrive in cities very well.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Atlanta\u2019s top 5 breeds for 2022:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>1. There\u2019s a new top dog in town! The ever-popular Labrador Retriever\u2019s record-breaking 31-year reign has ended. The playful and adaptable French Bulldog is America\u2019s most popular breed for the first time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>While it may come as a surprise to some that the loveable Lab\u2019s 31-year stay at the top has come to an end, the French Bulldog has been quietly climbing the charts for many years.
