Fulton County Schools will host two events before the first day of school to encourage families to prepare for the 2022-23 school year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
First Day Fulton, the district\u2019s back-to-school pep rally, will be held Saturday, July 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at both North Springs and Banneker high schools. This event is designed to provide families with all the resources they need before the first day of school starts on Monday, August 8.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n
All Fulton County Schools families are welcome. Families can register <\/strong>new students\u00a0to Fulton County Schools at the event on a limited basis. Families who have students already going to a Fulton County school\u00a0do not\u00a0have to re-register their student. Sign up is only required if you need to register a\u00a0new\u00a0student for school. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Visit\u00a0fultonschools.org\/firstdayfulton<\/a>\u00a0to sign up for a registration slot.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Free physical and mental health screenings, immunizations and 3300 forms, free and reduced lunch applications, bus route information, interpreter services and school supplies will be available at First Day Fulton. The Atlanta<\/a> Community Food Bank will also distribute food to families in attendance and backpacks will be given away. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Additionally, district departments will be present to help families learn more about programs such as special education, PreK, Talented and Gifted, school social work and health services, and more. <\/p>\n\n\n\n North Springs High School is at 7447 Roswell Road in Sandy Springs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Banneker High School is at 6015 Feldwood Road in College Park.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n For more information about First Day Fulton, visit: https:\/\/www.fultonschools.org\/FirstDayFulton<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n Registration Day\u00a0will be held Friday, July 29 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at a high school or middle school within each school cluster.
