Down Home Derby Fundraiser brings in $150,000 for Children’s Development Academy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n
The Children\u2019s Development Academy (CDA), a nonprofit organization in Roswell, raised over $150,000 in net proceeds at their 12th<\/sup> annual Down Home Derby fundraiser on May 7. <\/p>\n\n\n\n The Down Home Derby is a long-standing tradition in North Fulton, but the CDA hasn\u2019t been able to hold the event for the last two years because of the pandemic. Money raised at the event helps support the CDA\u2019s mission of affording all children in our community high-quality early education. <\/p>\n\n\n\n This year\u2019s fundraiser was held at Reid Barn in Cumming. Guests enjoyed a live viewing of the Kentucky Derby, dinner, dancing and games all benefitting the CDA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The Butts County Fine Arts Festival was held May 7.
