This model assumes a family of two adults and two children – aged four and eight – and a modest yet adequate standard of living. Cost estimates include expenses related to housing<\/a>, food, child care, transportation, health care, taxes, and other necessities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n In Georgia, the estimated cost of living<\/a> for a family of four stands at $78,192 for 2022, lower than the national average and the 13th lowest among states. Of all living expense categories, health care has the highest annual cost in Georgia<\/a>, averaging $15,341 per year for a family of four – or 19.6% of the family’s estimated annual expenses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
