Atlanta’s beloved morning show hosts Kevin Avery and Taylor Scott are making a comeback on the city’s airwaves. After their departure from The Fish 104.7 earlier this year, the award-winning duo will join Star 94.1 starting September 15.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
“The Kevin & Taylor Show” will air weekdays from 6 to 10 a.m., bringing their signature upbeat and community-focused content to a new audience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The announcement comes months after The Fish 104.7, Atlanta’s prominent Christian music station, went off the air on January 31 following its sale by Salem Media Group to Educational Media Foundation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The duo brings impressive credentials to Star 94, including their recent induction into the Georgia Radio Hall of Fame in 2024. Their show has built a reputation for creating a deep sense of community through storytelling and listener engagement during their 25-year run in Atlanta<\/a> radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Current Star 94.1 morning show host Jenn ‘Hobby’ Rivera will remain with the station in a different capacity, hosting “The Feel Good Throwback Countdown with Jenn Hobby” on Saturdays at 8:00 a.m. ET.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kevin Avery, a 25-year veteran of Atlanta radio, is known for his passion for music, Atlanta United soccer, and rescue dogs. He and his wife Tracy have been married for 37 years and have four children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Taylor Scott, who has also spent 25 years on Atlanta radio, enjoys mountain biking on Georgia’s trails and is an Atlanta Braves fan alongside her husband Glenn.
