What he brought with him: a suitcase and duffle bag that reportedly smelled like a dispensary on wheels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of discreetly leaving his \u201cvacation luggage\u201d at home, the man wheeled it straight through the jail lobby. Pretty soon, everyone inside was catching a whiff of the overwhelming marijuana odor. Realizing the plan was unraveling faster than a Netflix true-crime plot, he pushed the bags back outside\u2014because, of course, moving your felony ten feet to the left totally erases the evidence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Enter K9 Vasko, the four-legged officer who lives for moments like this. The dog zeroed in on the duffle bag with the kind of enthusiasm usually reserved for free ice cream. Inside: a felony stash of marijuana and, just to really seal the deal, a firearm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Instead of walking out with his friend, the man walked into a cell with fresh charges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Two counts of crossing guard lines with illegal narcotics\/firearm (felony)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Felony possession of marijuana over an ounce<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Felony possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>The Sheriff\u2019s Office summed it up best: if you\u2019re planning to visit the jail, maybe don\u2019t bring your stash and your gun.
