Six Flags Over Georgia says Fright Fest will debut haunted mazes based on The Conjuring Universe and SAW. New, high-profile haunts raise the scare factor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\uddd3\ufe0f <strong>What\u2019s Happening:<\/strong> Six Flags Over Georgia announced Fright Fest will run 22 nights, Sept. 13 through Nov. 2, with two marquee indoor mazes drawn from The Conjuring Universe and SAW. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cFright Fest is the ultimate Halloween experience in <a class=\"wpil_keyword_link\" href=\"\/city\/Atlanta\"   title=\"About Atlanta\" data-wpil-keyword-link=\"linked\"  data-wpil-monitor-id=\"1731\">Atlanta<\/a>,\u201d park manager Kristin Ardizoni said. \u201cWe\u2019re taking fear to the next level with new, immersive haunts based on two of the most terrifying franchises in horror history. This year, you won\u2019t just watch the terror, you\u2019ll live it.\u201d According to the park, the new mazes anchor a bigger slate of scare zones, shows and night rides in the dark.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc80 <strong>Inside The New Mazes:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Conjuring Universe: Guests enter the Warrens\u2019 occult museum and confront Annabelle, The Nun and the Perron farmhouse, per Six Flags.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SAW: Legacy of Terror: A walk-through of Jigsaw\u2019s traps and set pieces, inspired by the films.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf9f\ufe0f <strong>How To Get In:<\/strong> A Haunted Attractions Pass is required for the premium mazes, according to Six Flags. That pass also covers Carnival of Chaos presented by M&amp;M\u2019s, Nyctophobia presented by Snickers and Camp Slasher Skittles. General park admission includes scare zones and shows.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83c\udf15 <strong>New Scare Zones And Shows:<\/strong> Six Flags says it\u2019s adding:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The Rotted Ones: Cornfield creatures with carved faces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Disciples of the Beast: A backwoods cult and their sacrifices.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Necropolis: An overgrown, time-lost grave city.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Festival of Fright: A 1950s Rockville street party with vintage d\u00e9cor and fall games.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>NIGHTSHADES: A new rock spectacle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Plus the returning Dr. Fright\u2019s Dead Man\u2019s Party.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udc68\u200d\ud83d\udc69\u200d\ud83d\udc67 <strong>Daytime Fall For Kids:<\/strong> On weekends from Sept. 13 through Nov. 2, the park will run Kids Boo Fest and Oktoberfest for lighter, daytime crowds, according to Six Flags.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83d\udcbc <strong>Jobs:<\/strong> Six Flags Over Georgia is hiring scare actors, makeup artists, supervisors and crew for Fright Fest. Perks include paid training and free park admission. Passes bought now include access to more than 40 Six Flags parks for the rest of 2025 and all of 2026. Details: sixflags.com\/overgeorgia.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\uddca <strong>Between The Lines:<\/strong> Six Flags Over Georgia confirmed it will not bring back Holiday in the Park this year, citing a shift to focus on its core spring\u2013fall season. \u201cAfter much research and planning, we\u2019ve made a strategic decision to focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences during our core operating season &#8211; spring through fall,\u201d the park said in an email to season pass holders. \u201cThis means that Holiday in the Park will not return this year and our season will end November 30.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\ud83e\udded <strong>The Big Picture:<\/strong> Theme parks are leaning harder on name-brand horror to fuel fall attendance.
