According to the Georgia Trust for Historic Preservation, the house was built in 1876.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Prior to the fire, The Little House had extensive water damage, needed a new roof and had extensive damage to the exterior. The Louisville Downtown Development Authority was working to save and restore the home.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;Last night our town lost a piece of history when &#8220;Louise&#8221; burned.
