When using pickup or delivery or running your essential errands, please do so efficiently. If you are still working outside your home, follow social distancing rules as much as possible. Continue to exercise and go outside, but allow at least 6 feet between you and those not sheltering with you.

For many Dunwoody families, spring break begins this weekend. Please be extra careful next week. It is going to be tempting to let your children have playdates, walk in groups, or go to the store just to have something to do. None of these is a good idea. The Dunwoody Trailway has multiple connections, and you can access it from Georgetown Park and Pernoshal Park, as well as Brook Run. Using these trail heads will allow you to spread out more and make social distancing easier.

It will certainly be a different spring break, but I am hearing a lot of creative suggestions from families on how to use this time. I would love to hear your ideas so I can share them with others. Email lynn.deutsch@dunwoodyga.gov with your social-distancing, family-friendly ideas.

Additionally, in today’s newsletter, you can find an activity book from our Parks and Recreation Department.
