The corn maze opens Sept. 14.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To coincide with the move, this year&#8217;s corn maze features events and activities that can be found in Dawson County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Uncle Shuck\u2019s Corn Maze &amp; Pumpkin Patch was recently nominated in the 2019 10Best Readers&#8217; Choice travel awards. Activities this year include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>13-acre Corn Maze<\/li><li>Kiddie Maze<\/li><li>Tire Mountain<\/li><li>Gem Mining<\/li><li>Wagon Ride<\/li><li>Perfect Pumpkins<\/li><li>Corn Cannon<\/li><li>Fall Decorations<\/li><li>Goat Walk<\/li><li>Jumping Pad<\/li><li>Bonfires \u2026 and even more fun!<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This year marks the 18th year Uncle Shuck\u2019s has had a <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/uncleshucks.com\/uncle_shucks_corn_maze.php\" target=\"_blank\">corn maze<\/a> in north Georgia, which is the longest-operating corn maze in the state. This fall, farm goers can bump along on an old-fashioned wagon ride, navigate the miles and miles of corn maze paths in the 13-acre field, pick a pumpkin, chow down on some delish festival food and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe look forward to seeing familiar faces and families who make it an annual tradition to visit Uncle Shuck\u2019s, and lots of new faces too!\u201d said Mathew Hughes, farm owner\/operator.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>The fall season opens September 14 and will run<\/strong> <strong>until November 17, 2019. <\/strong>\u00a0The activities will be open\u00a0 weekends in September, as well as every day in October, with the 2019 special events as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sept. 15 &#8211; Foster Family Day<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sept. 28 &#8211; 29 &#8211; Scout BSA Weekend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Sept. 29 &#8211; Scout BSA Overnight Camp Out<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oct. 5 &#8211; 6 &#8211; Girl Scout Weekend<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Oct. 14 &#8211; Columbus Day, 10am-6pm<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Nov. 8 &#8211; 110 &#8211; Veterans Weekend (Veterans admitted free)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fall Admission is $15\/person (4 and under are free) which includes the corn maze and other activities.\u00a0 Discounted tickets are available for groups of 20 or more. Evening visits for church groups, school groups, college groups etc. can be booked as well. Find the full event schedule hours of operation and purchase tickets online at <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/uncleshucks.com\/index.php\" target=\"_blank\">UncleShucks.com<\/a>.\u00a0 Additional fee-based activities are available on weekends, including pony rides, gem mining etc. at an additional charge.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Then for those brave souls, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/uncleshucks.com\/uncle_shucks_haunted_maze.php\" target=\"_blank\">The Dark Rows<\/a>, a haunted attraction at Uncle Shucks is open Fridays and Saturdays starting in October.\u00a0 This haunted trail through a totally separate attraction, and is not for the faint of heart.\u00a0 The haunted trail operates from dusk to 10pm on the following nights: Oct. 4, 5, 11, 12, 18, 19, 25, 26, 27, Nov. 1, 2.\u00a0 The cost is $20\/person with a combo ticket of $25.
