Every Columbus Day Weekend, local pirates and those from far distant lands converge on Tybee Island for a four-day swashbuckling festival with live music, a parade and family-friendly activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The merriment begins Thursday, Oct. 10 with the coronation of Pirate Fest\u2019s King and Queen at the Buccaneer Ball from 6 to 10 p.m. at\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/visittybee.com\/profile\/the-crab-shack-at-chimney-creek\/7858\" target=\"_blank\">The Crab Shack<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Friday, Saturday and Sunday highlights include Thieves Market, Little Matey\u2019s Cove, The Pirate Victory Parade, the Bud Light Whatever Bar with live music, a fireworks show and several kids\u2019 activities such as a petting zoo, bounce houses and more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>This year\u2019s headliner is\u00a0<a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"http:\/\/www.officialgreatwhite.com\/\" target=\"_blank\">Great White<\/a>.
