Kaylee Jones is still missing after four months

CARROLLTON — A 16-year-old Carrollton girl who went missing from her home on Whooping Creek Church Road in June is still missing after four months.

The Carroll County Sheriff’s Office says while there have bene numerous tips sent in regarding the disappearance of Kaylee Jones over the last four months, none of those tips have been substantiated.


The Sheriff’s office is asking residents to report anything they know about Kaylee’s disappearance, regardless of how small you think the detail may be.

Below are some of the facts we know about the case.

Kaylee has brown hair and brown eyes. She is 5’8″ and weighs about 135 pounds.

Kaylee may be going by her birth name of Jillian Paige Temple.

Kaylee was last seen on June 14 at her residence in the 700 block of Whooping Creek Church Road in Carrollton. Sheriff’s officials believe she left on foot in an unknown direction. Officials say they do not know what she was wearing and if she was with anyone.

It is possible Kaylee has a blue in color bookbag with a horse on the front and possibly has “Mazi or Kaylee” on the front. Kaylee does not have her cell phone with her or any other known electronic device.

Kaylee and her family moved to Carrollton about a year ago from Brooksville, Florida where they still have family and friends.

Sheriff’s officials say Kaylee’s family is very worried about her and want her returned home safe.
