DULUTH — Are you planning to buy or sell something from Facebook Marketplace, Craigslist, or any other type of buying and selling app, but you feel uncomfortable meeting at your house or theirs?

The Duluth Police Department now offers a safe place to handle these exchanges.

The department has placed an OfferUp sign outside the police department parking lot to make your transaction a smoother and safer one.

If you still feel unsafe, you may call (770) 476-4151 to request an officer to standby at the police department during your transaction.

The Duluth Police Department address is 3276 Buford Highway, Duluth, Georgia 30096.
