Investigators want your help finding a Macon man who has been missing since April

MACON — Bibb County Sheriff’s Investigators are asking for the public’s assistance in a missing person investigation.

According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office, 60-year-old Michael Andrew Waites Sr., of Macon, was last seen leaving a family member’s home onHawkinsville Road in April of this year.

Waites’ son contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report him missing after not hearing from him since April.

Waites is six feet tall and weighs about 250 pounds with brown/gray hair and Hazel eyes. 

Sheriff’s officials say Waites has several medical issues and may need medical attention.

Anyone knowing the whereabouts of Michael Andrew Waites Sr. are asked to contact the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office at 478-751-7500 or Macon Regional Crime Stoppers at 1-877-68CRIME.
