DUNWOODY — A massive oak tree at a historic home in Dunwoody fell Thursday morning and hit two cars.

Miraculously, no one was injured, according to city officials.

Officials are advising residents to avoid Chamblee Road at Mount Vernon and to be extra cautious when driving in today’s storm conditions.

Police are on site at the intersection, which is now closed, and utility crews are being deployed to the area.

The tree that fell was at the Cheek-Spruill House.
