Grindhouse Killer Burgers will not reopen its dining room despite Kemp's announcement

Following yesterday’s announcement from Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, allowing restaurants to resume normal operations as of Monday, April 27th, Grindhouse Killer Burgers says it plans to remain open for takeout and delivery only until further notice.

“In order to maintain a comfortable level of safety for our staff and guests, Grindhouse will not be opening it’s dining rooms on Monday. Despite the announcement by Gov. Kemp to encourage reopening, we feel that it is far too soon to allow on-site dining. We will be actively monitoring the situation and making our own determination of when to reopen based on when we feel it is the responsible thing to do,” says Alex Brounstein, Owner of Grindhouse Killer Burgers.

Brounstein says he is anxious to reopen the restaurant chain’s dining rooms and will make an announcement on a specific date when those details have been determined. Until then, Atlantans can get their fix by ordering Grindhouse Killer Burgers for pickup and delivery via DoorDash. In addition to the regular menu, the restaurant is offering a special Provisions Menu for a cook-at-home option, bringing DIY Grindhouse right to your doorstep. Grindhouse Killer Burgers has locations at Sweet Auburn Curb Market, in Piedmont Heights/Ansley, Grant Park, Decatur, Athens, and two stalls at Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The restaurant also plans to open a location in Brookhaven on Apple Valley Road in early 2020.
