DeKalb County will host a virtual town hall on coronavirus Thursday

DeKalb County is hosting a second virtual town hall on the coronavirus to help residents stay informed and prepared.

DeKalb County CEO Michael Thurmond, the Board of Commissioners, District Health Director Dr. S. Elizabeth Ford and DeKalb County School District Interim Superintendent Ramona Tyson will host a virtual town hall meeting about COVID-19 and the county’s preparedness measures.

Panelists will discuss medical updates, distance learning, county and municipal preparedness, and federal and state support services.

The virtual town hall meeting will be Thursday, March 19, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., and can be accessed via the following channels:
