Second missing woman tied to wanted Georgia caretaker

The Gwinnett County Police Department is seeking the public’s help in locating another missing elderly woman tied to a wanted caretaker.

Earlier this month, an officer spoke with the daughter of Linda Williams. The daughter said that she hasn’t spoken with her mother since sometime in December 2019.

The daughter told police she had not physically seen her mother since October 2019. When the daughter questioned the caretaker, Kishia Mitchell, she was told that Linda Williams was transferred to Adult Protective Services.

According to police, Adult Protective Services has no record of Williams in their database.

Mitchell has ties to another active missing person case involving 59-year-old Linda Kimble. Kimble has yet to be found.

Both women are listed as missing on Georgia Crime Information Center.

KisMitchell had previously been charged with two counts of Exploitation of a Disabled or Elder Person and two counts of Unlicensed Personal Care Home. She also has an active warrant for Probation Violation.

If anyone has any information to share in this case, they can contact detectives at 770-513-5300. To remain anonymous, tipsters can contact Crime Stoppers at 404-577-TIPS (8477) or visit www.stopcrimeATL.com.  Crime Stoppers tipsters can receive a cash reward for information leading to an arrest and indictment in this case.  Case Numbers:  20-013604 (Williams) & 19-091913 (Kimble)
