CUMMING — On January 23, 2020, at 2:21 p.m., the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office and the Forsyth County Fire Department responded to a two-vehicle crash on Keith Bridge Road near Leland Drive in Forsyth County.

The investigation at this point has determined that a 2018 white Jeep Compass was traveling east on Keith Bridge Road when police say the Jeep’s driver crossed over the double yellow line striking a 2005 black Toyota Scion head-on.

The Toyota was traveling west on Keith Bridge Road. The Toyota was being driven by 42-year-old Candi Tucker of Gainesville, who was driving with one passenger.

According to Deputy First Class Matt Kirk, Traffic Investigator with the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office, Tucker was pronounced dead at the scene.

The passenger in the Toyota and the driver of the jeep were both transported to a local hospital by ambulance with non-life-threatening injuries.

The crash remains under investigation by the Forsyth County Sheriff’s Office Traffic Specialist Unit.
