Temperatures expected to drop below freezing in Southeast Georgia Monday night

The National Weather Service has issued a freeze watch for Southeast Georgia from Monday evening through Tuesday morning.

Residents can expect a cold snap with lows of about 28 degrees.

The weather service warns that appropriate action should be taken to ensure tender vegetation and outdoor pets have adequate protection from the cold temperatures. Young children, the elderly and the homeless are especially vulnerable to the cold.

Northeastern Charlton
Northern Ware
Pierce
Southern Ware

Western Charlton
