A Roswell man was robbed after trying to sell his iPhone on the Let Go app

The Gwinnett County Police Department needs the your help in identifying a woman who robbed a man in a transaction initiated using the Let Go app.

On December 29, a Roswell man agreed to meet up with a woman at a Peachtree Corners business to sell his iPhone X using the Let Go app.  The two agreed on a sale price of $790. According to the police report, the woman walked up to the man at the Sherwin Williams store at 3925 Holcomb Bridge Road. While they were talking, the woman grabbed the iPhone and ran away. 

After meeting up with officers, the man shared an image of the suspect that she used in her profile. The victim said that the woman on the profile was the same woman who stole his iPhone.

According to the site, she uses the name “XVIBES.” She had many items for sale to include two phones, a computer, and designer shoes. 

The suspect is described as a black woman possibly in her 20s. She is about 5 feet 4 inches tall and weighs about 125 lbs. She has black hair and brown eyes. According to police, at one point during the transaction the woman said that her mother works at North Fulton Hospital, but it is unclear if this information is accurate.

Police are asking anyone who has any information to share in this case to contact detectives at 770-513-5300.
