The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office has arrested two suspects in the Nov. 30 murder of a man during an alleged armed robbery in Brookhaven. A third suspect in the incident, 34 year-old Pierre Gregory Singletary of Brookhaven, has been in custody since Dec. 6 after police issued an alert for assistance in locating his whereabouts.

The DeKalb County Sheriff’s Office Fugitive Unit arrested 24 year-old Stephen D. McAllister of College Park, Georgia, and 31 year-old Quintez M. Griffin of Atlanta, Georgia Tuesday. Both suspects are charged with Felony Murder, Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, and Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon.

The warrants allege that during an armed robbery Nov. 30, at a Brookhaven apartment complex, McAllister and Griffin shot Carthel Lamont Johnson, Jr. and Roderick Levelle Francois. Johnson died on the scene, according to the warrants. Both victims were found at a Waffle House near the apartment.

Sheriff’s investigators located and apprehended McAllister in College Park. Griffin was arrested at an Atlanta location. Both were taken into custody without incident and transported to the DeKalb County Jail.
