Macon man hospitalized after multiple shots were fired into his house

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting incident that was reported on the 3300 block of Thunderbird Rd., just before 9 p.m. Saturday.

According to police, it was reported that 21-year-old Eric Brown Jr., of Macon, was in his house when and unknown person fired multiple shots into the home.

Police say Brown was struck in the back twice. No one else was injured in the incident. Brown was transported to the Navicent Health Medical Center where he is listed in stable condition at this time. No information is available on the suspect.
