Meet the 2021 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders

The 2021 Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders squad has been revealed. The 2021 auditions were held in a virtual and in-person hybrid format, with auditions opening up in February and the final squad chosen on August 1st. The 2021 squad totals to 40 performers, made up of 12 rookies and 28 returning veterans.

The Atlanta Falcons Cheerleaders will actively be part of the 2021 Falcons season. “Our cheerleaders are an integral part of the Atlanta Falcons,” stated Rich McKay, President and CEO of the Atlanta Falcons. “They, along with Freddie Falcon, are our community champions, and their contributions to game day and to our fans is unmatched.” McKay continues, “We are excited to welcome the new squad to the Falcons family.”

Over 200 performers registered to try out, and the final auditions took place in-person at Mercedes-Benz Stadium – beginning with a fitness workout hosted by an Orangetheory Fitness instructor. “After auditions were fully virtual last year, we were so excited to welcome our performers back to Mercedes-Benz Stadium,” said Chato Hendrix, Director of Atlanta Falcons Cheerleading. “We took our learnings from 2020 and successfully combined the hybrid version of tryouts with the in-person and we plan to implement both in the future,” Hendrix continues. “Having Orangetheory Fitness join us as a great partner this year set the bar for future auditions, and the end result is an incredible 2021 squad.”
